Weigh in Wednesday

So, by now, it is obvious that I am lacking when it comes to weight loss!

About two weeks ago, I was like a child at Christmas when my wedding dress came!!!

Obviously this is a very exciting time and I couldn't wait to try it on, instantly, I was on the phone to my mum and she came straight over to help me get into it. To get more of the full effect, she brought along her own wedding veil (which I am using as my something borrowed) and her corset.

I was so happy, I didn't even care that I didn't fit into it! By about 5 inches. Luckily, I did join the gym yet again a few days before that so I was able to get cracking.

Tonight, my dad came round to watch the football with T and I desperately wanted to show him my dress despite not having a corset, or someone to put me in it.

To my surprise, the past two weeks have given great results. I am so close to fitting the dress without a corset on. There is still a lot of work to go in my upper body but I am so pleased with myself! Here are the results, on the left is what it looked like the night I got it (two weeks ago) and on the right is the results tonight:

P.S. I have edited so the colour isn't obvious and also covered up any hints of what my dress looks like.

New year, new skin?

So, as I suspected, Blogmas failed!!
Maybe if I have more faith, it will work out more.

So since the new year, I started back at college which took up a lot of my time but then to add to it all, I started University! YAYYY!
Which doubles, if not triples my stress load.

However, one of the things I am determined to do this year is clear up my skin. As a beautician, I know that you can pretty much do anything with makeup but no matter what, you will always get a better result with a nice canvas (my inner artist coming out here).

I wouldn't say that my skin is awful, but I would say that I need to work on it.

Even though I am a beautician, my skin hasn't ever been my priority, I recently purchased a few things from Boots to contribute. Along with the Soap and Glory skin care line, I also bought a No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush for only £25.

I have been giving the S&G line for a few weeks to prepare for when this came in the post.
I will be taking a before and after of my skin and keep you updated and will be doing my first ever real review!!

I am soooo excited.
